How were your scores if you’ve received them. If not how was the test? Do you guys think the scoring will be harsh. Any ideas how the scoring may be like??.. [-O<
I think the reading/math curves were generous but the writing one was okay. I got 6 wrong on the reading and still got a 37 and 3 wrong on the math but still got a 790. On writing I got 3 wrong and got a 37 as well.
Damn the Math curve seems generous… my results haven’t been released (UK) but you just got my hopes up I don’t think any practice test by CollegeBoard has such a generous Math curve.
Hopefully we get some more responses and can actually plot a curve for all 3 areas.
Hey @Brit~Abroad Do you know when international scores come out? I have been checking non-stop and they haven’t come out yet!
Where did you take your test @iblifeishorrible ? Normally there is no delay at least not by any significant amount of time. Maybe it’s your specific test centre. I didn’t know anyone at mine so I can’t verify that.
@Brit~Abroad I took mine in Canada on December 3rd, but it just says “not yet available”.
There’s a forum on Reddit, allegedly a user was told to check back at 12 EST (around 1 hour from now) by College Board customer service. They do release them throughout the day… So frustrating right now.
…
@yochill2021 What?? @Brit~Abroad Thanks!! I will see, but if it doesn’t get sent out it’s going to be so painful! (Checking it every second of the day, haha) also could you post the link to the Reddit?
@yochill2021 where did you take yours? Again, according to another Twitter user there are “some” international batches that have not been released due to overloading. Is it me or are international students always second?

I’m an international from Morocco and still haven’t got mine either, I really can’t wait another week…
I’ve started drawing up a scale table based on everyone’s results and it is pretty assuring… even if you haven’t received yours yet. If anyone could reply with a score breakdown that would help.
@Brit~Abroad thanks! I ended up just searching it up and apparently the international results will be delayed until the 27th of December. What do you think the score breakdown is?
Math from 58 down to 53 goes 800, 800, 790, 790, 770, 770.
Reading from 52 down to 47 is 40, blank, 39, 39, 38, 37.
Writing I’m struggling to find scores for. Appears only the most confident post
710 on reading/writing
630 on math (lol)
6/5/5 on the essay
on the math, i didn’t answer an entire write-in section (i didn’t know it was part of that same section we were on, and they were very strict about not moving on ahead). and i think i guessed on about 5 of them.
on the reading passage, i didn’t get to read the final passage, but i did have time to bubble em in at least (guesses).
3 wrong on the writing section and got a 37. (41/44)
11 wrong on the reading and got 34 (41/52)
10 wrong and 8 omitted on math and got 31.5 (40/58) (honesty, i can’t believe i scored in the 600s with that many wrong lol)
@otoribashi cheers that helps and do you remember omitting 8? I’m considering sending mine for verification my math score was lower than I expected… like quite a bit lower xD
@mirandaf that’s a great score you probably nailed the SAT =D> - unless you wanna go for a perfect score as an academic achievement . I checked mine today. I had :
Math : 720 (8 wrong)
EBRW : 610 ( 28- Reading, 33-Writing).
Composite -1330
I probably flopped in the reading because I failed to finish on time and shadded the rest of randomly. I’m kinda okay with my score but I know more improvements can be done. I’m definitely taking it again this March to improve my EBRW score. Just want that +1450.
@BritAbroad nice prediction. It’s true the Math curve was kinda lenient.
@otoribashi great score. You just need to work on the Math.
Guys if you had the scores you wanted, congrats on your achievements. If otherwise you didn’t make it like you wanted, don’t beat yourself up. Just accept what you scored and work hard on your weak areas until they become strong. Everything is possible if and only if you put yourself to the task and believe. The sky is not the limit!
@brit~abroad @michealcks26 ah yes i remembered omitting 8. it’s because on the first math section, i didn’t answer any of the write-in problems because i thought they would be a part of the next math section (and the rules were very strict about not moving ahead or working on past sections) im surprised i got 10 incorrect though from the ones i did answer… i found the math to be extremely easy (especially because im in community college/transfer and ive already taken calc 3) but i guess i still have work to do to fit what the SAT looks for. ive never taken stats so questions relating to that might have tripped me up. it’s ironic because my major is actually extremely math-intensive so it came as a surprise to see a higher reading/writing score lol (though it’s understandable given i omitted an entire write-in section)
and @brit~abroad, is it free to ask for a score verification? i imagine that they grade the tests by scanning them and i find it hard to see how there could be an error when doing that. though im just suspicious of the collegeboard in general whenever they provide a service for a fee since everything costs insane amounts of money.
thanks and good job to you guys as well! it’s good practice to know where you messed up and how you performed at the time of taking the test so even if your score wasn’t how you wanted it, you got a chance to see how you can improve for next time! i definitely need to get my math score up though since my major is math-intensive and it might invalidate my coursework grades (and my english score, since i didn’t have time to read the last passage and just bubbled em in randomly)
@otoribashi you can ask them to manually verify your score. It does initially cost $55. HOWEVER, if your score does improve after being verified, CB will write you a check for that $55. You can order SAS for about $18 which shows you the correct answer and what your answer was.
Therefore, say if the sheet says you put D D D D D D D D D consecutively then obviously there may be something wrong and so you could then order the verification. It’s a good way to see if there may be any errors BeFORE you spend a weeks pocket money on the verification service rather than a date.
And the SAT is monstrously long which is why when they ask easy questions like 2 squared you put 8.
@michealcks26 Thank you! 1450+ is extremely doable for you. I started prepping for the SAT only 2 months before. My starting score was around 1340. I borrowed books from the library, looked over the books for 1 hour 2-3 times a week, did some khan academy, and took the PSAT and 4 practice tests! You don’t have to do excessive amounts of prep to get a large score increase, as long as you’re focused, dedicated, and efficient with your time. I got almost a 200 point increase just from this small amount of prep. Good luck! I hope you get your target score and it’s totally doable!
