Fee Waiver

So, I got some emails telling me I could apply VIP and for free from several schools. At first I just ignored them, because they weren't schools I was interested in. However, today, I was like, eh why not? and decided to go for it and appleid to UVM.

In their email they sent me they said: "No application fee (you can select the "other" fee waiver option under the payment section of the Common Application website)"

I did that, and sent in the supplement and app. In the payments section, albeit saying "Complete" it also says: "You have indicated that you will apply for a fee waiver for this institution's application fee."

I selected exactly what the website said, so here is my question: do I need to actually go somewhere and "apply" for a fee waiver, or am I all set, selecting that on the common app was enough and now I'm good to go? Thanks!

When the universities contacted you and told that you can apply for free, they were giving you a fee waiver, so no, you don’t need to apply for a one.

Oh okay, sweet, thanks!
