<p>For the Common App prompt "Indicate a person who has had a significant influence on you, and describe that influence", I am planning on writing about my relationship with my twin sister. I've been pretty academically successful (4.0, probably NMF, etc.) and she has a learning disability that makes school very difficult for her. I think I've had a pretty unique experience in that I've been kind of a live-in tutor for her. I proof all her writing, help her review material from class, register/remind her to get ready for SAT/ACT. Our parents both have minimal education, so they can't really help with too much. I'm thinking about writing how our relationship has kept me grounded and made sure I didn't develop the elitist attitude that academic success proves your superiority over others. Thoughts? Thanks for any help :)</p>
<p>I like the idea about writing about your twin sister. Though I’m a bit wary about the conclusion/moral of the topic. If you’re up for it, I would recommend just going with it, since only in the process of writing do you see where you’re going. </p>
