Feedback on these colleges

For those that are curious, I did not go to Riordan High School, although I was considering in going. Right now, I'm stuck in a highschool with limited resources, but I'm making the best in looking for opportunities. UPS seems intriguing, got one of their catalogs in the mail and it was beautiful. I know catalogs only exaggerate the campus and a prospective student knows that only a visit can really see the big picture. So I'm looking around to see if there's any reps and adcoms around my area to ask, and maybe let them know that I would love to visit their campus etc. Just hopefully they fly students out before they even apply. It would be great if its even possible. Being a prospective swimmer, although not of Div 3 caliber in terms of speed and time, may be an advantage? Shrug, I'll see what I can do.

Anyways, thank you for suggestions.

Chad Minnich is the Bay Area UPS Rep. I'm pretty sure he lives in Tacoma, but he's down here a lot. You'll probably have to wait until May after the decisions are made to meet him, but that's not bad.

Yeah, I emailed Chad Minnick back in November and told me to keep an eye out on interviews next fall. It's worth the wait. Still waiting for Pomona's response of maybe visiting their college. I really am a poor child, so its really limited for me to visit colleges.

i did an overnight at oxy, and even though their republican club only had 3 members out of the whole school, it is really not THAT liberal. people do have their opinions, but they only really share when asked and dress very southern californian

Austinj, check out the aerial photo of BU on the co11egecircles.com site. That 6-lane road is Commonwealth Ave., the BU "campus."
