I'm looking for a high level school that has a good name and is a place where I could swim. Feel free to give suggestions as well. Thank you :)

Not to be rude, but I do not think your high school is very “prestigious”. If you have a 3.8 at prestigious high school, you should at least break 31 composite ACT. Is it a feeder school? How many people does it send to elite schools a year (ivys, UCs, Stanford, MIT, etc). Just go to NYU Stern and get recruited for swimming.

To be completely honest, the prestige of my high school isn’t my main concern. I’m planning on retaking the ACT in early fall, so we will see how I do then. Thanks for the advice anyways, Stern is definitely a top pick of mine.

Your GPA is very good, and the fact that your high school is competitive adds to the overall appeal of your application. Your test scores are going to end up being the sole weakness in your app- try to get that SAT up to maybe 2100-2150 and ACT to 32-33 for NYU, which is the most competitive school you are applying to. However, you appear to be amazing at swimming, so if you were to be recruited by any of these schools, your acceptance would be close to definite. Keep overachieving in swim, and get those test scores up to optimum, and you have yourself a strong application, and a strong chance of admission to all your schools. Good luck!
