<p>So in the wake of upcoming rejections, I wanted to compile a playlist of feel good songs to give me a little pick-up from devastation.</p>
<p>The one that always does the trick for me is: Twist 'n Shout (by the Beatles)</p>
<p>Feel free to share some of your favorites so that I can add it to my "feel-better-after-being-rejected-from-college" playlist :)</p>
<p>Audrey, you should be thinking about the songs you will play when you get those accepted messages/letters.</p>
<p>As far as bounce-back music goes, you can’t go wrong with “Walkin’ on Sunshine,” by Katrina & the Waves.</p>
<p>But I agree with the Sultan. When you get accepted, I would suggest blasting “We Are the Champions,” by Queen.</p>
<p>I love “Anticipation” by Carly Simon. It’s kinda mellow, but has a positive/sentimental message. And who can’t love a chorus of “These are the good ol’ days”?</p>
<p>In case of bad news, how about “Tubthumping” by Chumbawamba.</p>
<p>“I Feel Good” by James Brown…</p>
<p>(But his “may” have been substance-induced!?)</p>
<p>Haha. Honestly, acceptance is so not on my radar right now!</p>
