Feel like im never going to get into any good school because of this

Alright well first my Schedule right now for 11th grade is:
APB physics
Honors English
AP US
AP psychology
Honors Spanish 4 -AP spanish is not offered untill next year.
And here it is.... Regular Trig....In my school Honors Pre-calc is considered the most ahead you can be.

That regular Trig always keeps me up at night.
I can easily be in Honors calc but what happen was in 8th grade I wasn't put into honors...and they said it's to late. Cause once everyones ahead of you you can jump ahead... in new york anyway, cause we all have to take regents to consider the class completed.
Anyway the main point is I have a 4.0 right now with that schedule... I keep like a 97-99 in Trig.
I play a spring sport, will have strong teacher recs, will have some clubs and such, and alot of community service.
In addition, I got a 2100 on my sat.... I got a 710 In CR and 700 in math.
Basically, I just want to know to what extent this flaw will hurt me.
Will it stop me from going to all top colleges??
I mean a 700 on the math shows that im strong in math.
Post your thoughts, advice, whatever. Excuse my spelling and grammer.
Main college I want is : Boston college

One of the tasks is looking at the college info, online. For BC, “the range of SAT performances for the “middle 50%” of enrolled students earned scores between 1930–2150 (Critical Reading 620–710, Math 640–740, Writing 640–730).” Will you retake the SATs? Many here feel kids should be in the top 25%, depending.

Will reg trig hurt? No. Not necessarily, but it does depend on your idea of a major.

Yes, it does depend on your major. An engineering major might raise red flags, but a humanities major wont.
I was actually in the same boat as you. I took Algebra 2 in 11th grade. Over the summer I took Precalc, and then as a senior I took Calculus. Now I’m self-studying for AP Calc AB. It hasn’t been too bad, just a lot of work and motivation. I am considering neuroscience as a major.

Why can’t you jump ahead? I was put in Algebra I as a freshman but I tested out of two math classes after that, so I’m a junior in Calc BC.

I know I posted this topic…but is it really going to kill me? I guess I was looking for the consensus effect. I meen theres so many people I know in honors precalc right now that have much lower SAT scores then me. Also, alot of them may not even take AP physics.
I know everyones always talking about how they look for students to challenge themselves… but if i apply to a scholl with my SAT’s in there top 25%…will one math class be that big of a deal?

I don’t think any one thing could ever completely kill your chances (well, maybe a felony charge or something), so I suggest doing the best you can in the rest of your classes and applying to the schools you want to go to just to see what happens. Apply to safeties too.

Again no trig won’t hurt. But the whole matters. If you’re stem, the lack of math rigor is an issue. You’ll need AP calc next fall to get past this. If you’re humanities, precalc may be enough, but AP calc is still better. You’re focused on today’s problem but should looking at what to do now, this summer and next fall. Eg can you do college precal this summer or online so you can get into fall AP calc?

nope, probably won’t hurt you enough to make a difference.

Just take ap calc next year…you are stressing wayyy to much about such a small thing
