Feeling super angry. Please urgent help!

I registered for the SAT Subjects in Physics and Mathematics 2C. I also selected the universities which would achieve my scores since they wanted to be selected as score recipients in advance. I had my previous scores 780 on Mathematics 2C and 650 on Physics. I studied a lot for physics and not very much for mathematics. Now I feel better in Physics, but badly in Mathematics. I want to cancel only the Mathematics scores in advance, but i cant since they are automatically send both from collegeboard.

How do I find a solution? Please I'm feeling very bad.

As far as I know, there is nothing you can do RIGHT NOW. You can, however, use score choise after you have taken the tests/make changes to score reports till February 3rd (assuming you are taking it tomorrow). You may as well just not take the Math subject test.

Is it possible not to take the Math subject test? How do i proceed? Should I get a refund? Are my scores canceled then?

SAT Subject Test Registration
I signed up for too many SAT Subject Tests™ and want to reduce the number. What should I do?

You don’t need to contact us in advance — on test day, simply take the tests that you want to take.

Test and registration fees (including late fees and telephone re-registration fees) cannot be refunded, even if you cancel your test scores or are absent on test day.

There is a window that you can cancel…but hurry because I was 1 day late when I tried to cancel an automatic SAT score to PSU ( it was done in error) …worked out well though , best sitting and she got in. Just call them directly.

So if I cancel my Mathematics scores for example, will the universities get only my Physics scores?
Thanks very much

You have to be careful. Cancelling means taking the test but cancelling the scores, so you will receive no score. This you can do either directly at the test center or after you have taken the test. ALL your scores will be cancelled then, including the Physics one.

If you decide to not take the Math 2 test, it’s totally fine. Just take the Physics one, no need to notify Collegeboard. The fee for the Math2, however, will not be refunded.

You may also take both tests and make changes to the score report till February 3rd but not before the test.

P.S. No need to post your question more than once. ;)

Hahah thank you book05, but I’m a bit confused and the test is tomorrow.
You said (You may also take both tests and make changes to the score report till February 3rd but not before the test)
Does this mean that directly after test I can come home and select only my physics scores and unselect the Mathematics scores?

I have to admit I am not a hundret percent sure on that. Look it up or contact collegeboard. I am quite sure they won’t force you to send all your scores. As I said, however, not 100% sure. Taking the exam tomorrow as well and have to get some sleep, 10om over here. Good luck! :)

Ups *hundred
And if you have time to wait for your results, you can certainly use score choice (but doesn’t sound like you can wait?)

walk in tomorrow, take physics SATII, walk out. No math score will be sent.

Your 780 is wonderful!
