Feeling very discouraged

<p>I believe that if you really want to do something then you should give it your all, if you still have no success then at least you did your best.</p>

<p>You can have your bachalor degree in anything for med school, so have it in something that you enjoy and if medicine doesn't work out then you have that degree as backup.</p>

<p>The thing about med school that it is hard to get into. If you are willing to go to any decent school then there are schools that have lower GPA requirements in the East Coast and Mid West. American students have good opportunites in places like the caribbean where minimum GPA requirement is lower than USA, just make sure the school is accredited by your state.</p>

<p>I think I would find a new counselor. You can get into the vast majority of uni's with your GPA. What you do there will determine what kind of medical school you can get into. The worst that can happen is you end up with a bachelor's degree and pursue some other career. If you fail, so be it. You don't be the first and you won't be the last. At least you tried.</p>
