<p>so i called today (i know, my love for princeton is definitely on the brink of a massive obsession)...now, the waitlist statement said that there would be a "few hundred" kids on the waitlist...which made me think like 300, right? WRONG...they're estimating 800-1000 kids on their waitlist, that totally made me feel just plain SOL. I'm and incredibly optimistic person, but it feels as if i should try to detach myself from princeton, and become a bears fan rather quickly</p>
<p>smiles, did you read the press release from Princeton (cited on this forum) which says they will be unlikely to take anyone off their waitlist? It doesn't really matter, then, since 0 out of 300 is the same as 0 out of 1000.</p>

<p>They actually haven't 100% released this or we would have gotten notification of it. At this point it is just considered "highly unlikely." NYU here I come (too bad their merit based aid of 20k wouldn't compare to princeton's 30k+ need based aid).</p>
