Filled out USC BA application. Realized I could do the BFA with video auditions. Questions?

I just found out that BFA offers video auditions to students who cannot attend. I called SDA and they said to contact admissions to change my first choice major to BFA. I called them and they told me I had to email, so I did. Have not gotten a response–I’m sure they’re very busy, but the deadline for the BFA application is in 14 hours.

SO my question is (while I await a response) should I go ahead and fill out the BFA application even though I have already submitted my BA slideroom app. Can I use the same personal statement since it is the same question, or should I write a completely new one?

If you haven’t already, call back SDA and inquire–deadline is coming very soon.

I called and they ended up telling me to fill out the BFA too, I had to change my personal statement a little bit to mention the BFA, but they said it could be the same. For anyone wondering in the future-- there are video auditions if you cannot make it!!!
