I am in desperate need of help. Please help me in this.
My father has a shop. Is that called a family business? Is tax form enough to prove his earnings?
My mom buy/sell shares. Should I mention that in occupation? If yes, what should I name it ? And how to verify her earnings?

Parents contribution for education expenses: Will it have any effect on the admission process ? I am confused if I should write 0 or what my family actually can contribute, which is very very low compare to total cost. Will this low contribution put me in immediate rejection ?

P.S. I am applying for colleges giving very limited amount of need based aid to intl students.

Honestly speaking, if you are applying to colleges with very limited amount of need based aid and you need very high need-based aid,you might be out rightly rejected. Here is one rejection letter, it will tell you all. (name of the student, admission officer and college is kept confidential).

Dear …

The International Admissions Committee has completed its review of your application file and wishes to thank you for your interest in attending … Although impressed with your academic record, the Committee was unable to accept your application for admission after taking into consideration the financial resources that would be available to you.

Their decision was based on the fact that University scholarship assistance, in combination with your own resources, would not be sufficient enough to assist you with the total cost of attending… for four years. It would be unfair to offer you admission without also providing enough financial support to make it possible for you to accept that offer of admission.

On behalf of the International Admissions Committee, I wish you the best. We regret that we are unable to help you further with your college plans.

Sincerely,

…
Director of International Admissions

You mom , I believe, is broker. You will have to include her earnings. If she pays tax, this is the verifying document of her income. Shop is a business. Tax form is enough to verify earnings, but other financial documents may be needed to verify the parental contribution ,if part of it is supported by something other than income.

DO NOT KEEP YOUR PARENTAL CONTRIBUTION AS 0. Write optimum amount of money that you believe your parents can pay.

Anyone with answers please reply.

How did/will you convert the tax reforms to English ?

How much your family still owe on the purchase price in question no 24 ‘c’. While building house no loan was taken and all the price was met, however we have some loan now.So what should I write here ?

Loan payments in question no 29 and amount paid on debt in 2012 in question no 30, whats the difference between them? And are they the loan interest or the amount paid to decrease the total loan amount?

What did/will you guys sent to verify your income and assets?
