I know Ivies are reaches for everyone, but if anyone could give me any idea of what may help/hurt my chances, that would be great. I'd also really like to hear any opinions from people who know about the LAC's I'm applying to. Thanks in advance!

Bump. Anyone? Please…

Someone please! I’ll chance back if you want!

Nothing stands out about your application, no amazing EC’s or awards, so the Ivies are most likely out of the picture. That said, you should be in at the other schools on your list.

Thanks for the input! Anyone else?

Georgetown - EA - i bet you’re in.
Harvard - high reach
Johns Hopkins- low reach
Princeton - high reach
Williams - probably not.
Yale - high reach

(the other universities im not sure about)

you plan to apply to HYP without sending SAT scores? you really need to send your SAT scores… what did you get? apart from this, you look like a solid applicant.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-berkeley/1028136-chance-berk.html

Thanks. I have a 35 on the ACT so there is no reason to send SAT scores, especially since mine are lower than my ACT.

I really don’t know much/anything about Northwestern and Berkeley. I can say that you look like a solid applicant, but I really don’t know anything about admission at those schools.

How about Cornell and Dartmouth? I think you’d have a good chance there, and Dartmouth is a lot like Williams (where I think you have a good chance too, BTW.)

Thanks, Williamsdad! I’ll look into both of those schools. By your username, I think it’d be appropriate to ask how your D/S likes Williams?
