<p>I'm from NJ, but the price over 4 years is virtually the same after a merit scholarship from WVU, so that's not a factor.</p>
<p>I'm most interested in print/broadcast journalism and sports writing. Internships/job opportunities at WVU project to be in the Pittsburgh/DC area, while Rutgers would emphasize more in the Tri-State area.</p>
<p>WVU has one of the most well renown student newspapers in the country. That is all I know about either school, really, except that if sports journalism is your thing WVU might have the better material.</p>
<p>Rutgers by far. 1) because most students change majors and Rutgers is stronger overall in most areas 2) More access if you stay in journalism to NYC Metro area.</p>
