Final Grades

I was recently accepted to UVa, and my grades are pretty solid. However, I don't know how my 2nd semester psychology class will pan out. I did not take psychology my first semester, and it's not that I'm slacking off either, the class in itself is just difficult in my opinion. How strict is UVa regarding final grades? I feel I will maintain my high grades in my other classes except for psychology ( I'm hoping to get a B, but worse case scenario would be a C). Will they rescind me? I'm sure you guys are probably thinking this is a stupid question, but I'm just a little nervous. Thanks for your help.

They want to see maintenance of grades, a slight drop in one class is not going to result in them rescinding your offer.

But seriously, Psycchology is tripping you up? That is typically memorization and regurgitation. Get your nose in the textbook.

Depends what school you take it at, and whether it’s hard psych or worthless soft psych.

I know the neurobio class at TJ covers a good portion of the biol 317 / psyc 220 syllabus at uva, and the nervous system mechanisms you learn are not trivial, and are more than just memorisation. (Take action potential threshold depression by prolonged inhibition, or mutual inhibition giving rise to central pattern generators…)

Well, we have two more tests in the class. Normally, an online class would not be difficult, but the way this class is setup is causing problems. However, we don’t have many grades, so that’s why i asked. I’m just nervous is all.
