Questions:
For UCSD, would they give me points for my assistant instructor and coaching? I mean I didnt have the position of president or vice-president but I am sure that teaching kids and adults is an example of leadership..

Would they give me 150 pts. for my 1 year participation and presidency of Martial Arts Club?

Is Kumon considered as one of their academic preparation programs?

Thanks! This will be my last chance thread :)

I would say you have a decent chance…if your sat/gpa was a minuscule amount higher I would say you have no problem getting in. But still, I’m pretty sure you have a good chance of getting in b.c. of your strong e.c. Yes I think kumon is an academic prep.

Good luck :)

yes Kumon is solid to put on there.

Overall you have a decent chance- kind of a toss up b/c UC admittance rates have been so inconsistent over the past five years.

If you actually immigrated that gives you a big boost. Most people just write about how their parents immigrated.

wait i also did Kumon but until 7th grade i believe… should i email the UC system and tell them to change it or what!!!

SWEET! I was skeptical whether or not UCSD would give me points for Kumon but i guess they will!

I calculated my pts. what do you guys think?
