Finance major, CSU vs UC?

Hey everyone....im trying to become an independent trader(thats very skilled)
in order for that, i want to work at a firm and learn their skills....as well as studying some aspects during undergrad....

Now i did apply to other schools, but for this thread...i applied to only California State universities as opposed to the " Universities of California"
The reason why is that these top CSU's offered the finance major I wanted to do rather than economics or business administration only at UC's...
Now btw UC's are a lot better in name then CSU's....

I know Berkley is very good, but I didnt have all the prereqs to apply to Haas.

Now if I wanted to work at a decent firm and become a good trader, should I actually apply to like UCI??? or stick with the CSU's?

UC no doubt. And I suspect you want to gain experience from that job, and then go off in your own?

You will get better looks from small firms if you go to UCI and get into their business school for undergrad. CSU’s are not to well know in my opinion outside of California, and they are going to be very underfunded soon. Play it safe and go to UCI.

CSU’s are good. The quality of UC professors might be higher, however, the teacher to student ratio is much higher. Many of my CSU upper division classes had fewer than 30 students.
