Does USC have a finance major?
or marshall?
I cant find anything on their website

Hey Teflondon,

Before I get to your first question, I just wanted to clarify what it exactly you’re asking when you say “or marshall?” I assume you’re asking whether or not the Marshall School of Business has a finance major. If that is indeed the case, the short answer: maybe. Marshall offers two undergraduate programs, Accounting and Business Administration, either of which may include a course relating to finance. You can read through the USC course catalogue yourself to see whether or not there is a finance related course in either of the two programs. I bet there has to be a couple.

As for a general “finance major,” I believe you’ll find that either the Economics major or Economics / Mathematics major in the Dornsife School of Letters, Arts, and Sciences will probably be the best approximation anyone can make when you ask for a “finance major.” In fact, the economics / mathematics major description states “USC College’s Mathematics department incorporates many mathematical theoreticians as well as specialists in applications of finance and economics.”

Hope that helped.

Good luck
