<p>does fordham give need based grants? i'm want to apply but i know for a fact that my parents cannot pay the full $40,000. i would probably need about $30,000 in aid to go to fordham. my SATs are slightly below avg--560 CR, 590M, 670W so i cant get scholarships. i'm definitely working to get my scores up and hopefully break 1210 with combined CR and M. can people please tell me the types of financial aid they've gotten from fordham and how much.</p>
<p>Where did you get $40,000? The school is expensive, but not that expensive.
Fordham does offer need base grants. I'm not quite sure the extent of their aid, but I can tell you that they gave me a total of $5,000 in grants for my first term as a transferring sophomore.</p>
<p>Trust me, smile is right. I'm an incoming freshman and fordham is gonna cost me 43,000 per yr. since they hardly gave me aid/scholarships. I had a 1210 old sat and an 89 avg so I have a feeling if you can get your sat up and if you have a high avg. you'll get some type of scholarship. Fordham isn't known to give great financial aid but maybe in your situation they'll give you just what you need.</p>
