Financial Aid At Top MBA Programs?

Hello,

Anyone know how financial aid works at top MBA programs? I know that their undergrad counterparts will basically give you a free ride if your parents make under 60K. How does it work for MBA school? Basically the same? Or will I be lucky if I get a dime?

(Currently have 0 assets, 0 net worth, just graduated and paying student loans, most of my paycheck is going to 401K)

You could get a little money but mostly it will be loans.

Nearly all MBA students have worked for several years so their parents' finances don't come into play. I think most of the money awarded is in the form of scholarship but the amount given may be related to your salary. As hmom5 said, most will be loans.

Scholarships (based on financial need and field) and loans. If you are venturing into a non-traditional area, such as nonprofit and sustainable management, there are loan forgiveness programs out there.
