I'm an out-of-state applicant from California. I figure to have about a 50-50 shot at getting into UVA as it stands. I was wondering, if I decided to not apply for need-based financial aid, would my chance of being admitted go up? I don't think I would be granted any aid even if I did apply, so I was wondering if the decision to not apply for any aid would help my chance of being admitted.

Thanks!
