Financial Aid for Law School?

I'm working towards my combined bachelor's/masters at the moment and I can finish my masters in one year, and but I am concerned that if I get my master's first that I will not be eligible to receive federal financial aid for law school. I haven't been able to locate a clear answer. Does anyone know how this works?

it seems an almost absolute that there will not be any need-based aid for LS, so if you anticipate obtaining that form of aid (with or without your masters), then you may be suprised. Nearly every dollar for LS will be offered to be covered in loans, though, of course, there are merit scholarships (I gather from other threads are terrible as well; they typically only last for year 1 and are small) and outside scholarships.

Side not on the 70% bar passing rate - further investigation (I can’t remember exactly where I has seen it now) discovered that the average passing rate for first time bar takers is 70%, the same average as the schools in the first thread. So, I suppose it is terrible in the sense that you are spending a while lot of money (in loans) to do something that you typically have a 70% chance of doing on the first go (others oass on the 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th attemps - or not at all), but relative to the national average it is on par.
