Hi everyone, I know this is going to sound like an absolute bonehead mistake, but my dad just now gave me the confirmation for my FAFSA and I realized that my EFC is much lower than I had expected because my dad always said that my sisters were never available for need based aid when in college, but because of this I filled in that I would not apply for need based aid on my UM application, when really I do have financial need. What steps should I take to fix this mistake even though I already submitted my app and the deadline already passed? Should I wait until I get my decision then appeal for financial aid?
Also, sorry about any typos/mistakes in my writing.
I did send my fafsa to them… if that makes a difference. 
Call them ASAP tomorrow morning and see if you can change it.
Does UM require CSS Profile as well? If so, then that also needs to be submitted.
