You can still send in the FAFSA.

annd then would i do the CSS too, or just Fafsa for federal aid?

CSS may be due on January 1st. Check admissions on the Cornell site.

Its already been 3 weeks for me. I was told to wait next week. If I dont get it then I should call.

Received my packet today. Cornell Rocks. Definitely better then I thought it would be.

i'm Canadian and i still haven't received my package yet
so i'm wondering if the process takes longer for international students
has anyone international received the fin aid package?

I am sure a lot of people still have not gotten in. I haven't heard of any spring transfers getting it yet, and we have to be in ithaca two weeks from today! I am a little freaked out, but can't really do anything about it since all my materials are in.

do a lot of undergrads also face this predicament?
yea i'm applying as a freshman to CALS

I still havent gotten it... I hope I get it this week, NOT NEXT!

I find it funny that I received the Cornell Bound booklet but not the FA packet...

Only have a week left!

Still haven't received my fin aid notification.

Cornell Chronicle: Cornell enhances financial aid program

so, at the bottom of the chart, it has the figures for a 125k family with 200k assets. does that 200k figure include home equity. cuz im thinking anyone who owns their home that makes like 125k is gonna have way more than 200k in assets -__-

I was told mine was complete, however, not "printed."

So... I should have some news by Wednesday and receive the package at home even though I'll be at Cornell.

I still haven't gotten mine. What were once worries are now full blown panic. =___="

Any Canadians get their fin aid yet?

Canadian here too...still no package T_T

anyone got a answer for my question? anyone know how home equity is counted as an asset? is it counted? if so, is your whole home counted? cuz i hope my parents dont automatically 250k in assets just cuz we own our own home.

you can email them and ask them if they have sent the package yet.
Whether the answer is yes or no, ask them if they could email them the package (pdf file) to you. If they haven't sent it yet, ask them to email it to you when they send it out.

I still haven't received my fa letter yet (bc, canada) but was able to find out how much I was getting two weeks ago because they emailed it over :)

And it was quite nice... around 45k in aid.. EFC - 7k; student money - 2k
income range 60k-120k, assets less than 100k

thats a huge income range. ehh, its too vague that it doesnt help me D: haha.

thanks qkslvr, I sent an email so hopefully ill get results soon!
