Financial Aid results?

Yay! My dd got in to my alma mater. However, gotta say that the financial aid is not comparable to any of the other schools she got in to, so it will fall off the list.

Anyone else have an experience to share? This probably helps next year applicants as much as the decision threads.

I did not receive a financial aid package. Can you tell me how to find it?

Nevermind, received it.

Was there a separate email about financial aid? All I’ve received is the standard acceptance email and then another one about athletics.

Whoops, found it. Close to nothing though…

I hate to ruin the trend, but I’m really pleased with my aid! It’s unofficial as of now because the non-custodial parent waiver is a real hassle, but hopefully I’ll be able to settle the matter by going to the financial aid office this week.

I’m glad to hear you received good aid from Hopkins. Good luck to you!

OKAY, i’m freaking out.

So I apparently haven’t submitted:
“Statement that student did not file a federal tax return,
CSS Financial Aid Profile, and
Parents’ 2011 Fed. 1040, all schedules & W-2’s, signed”

I saw that my aid awards was “0”.
I’m trying to get them all done by TODAY.
Will they update my aid, after I do so?
Help…

johazy, you are fine. those are due prior to may 1, 2012.

i received no aid at all so hopkins will be a stretch.

I got full tuition, all I’d have to pay would be the enrollment deposit.

And room and board ^^^?

Yep Room and Board too.

Fantastic! Congratulations!

Thanks man, I’m mind blown right now. It’s really awesome fin aid here.

Students have until May 1 to turn in 2011 tax returns, non-filing statements, etc.; however the CSS Profile and FAFSA were due by March 1. Students who turn those forms in now will not be considered for JHU grant funding. If a student in this situation decides to enroll, they will not receive JHU grant funding in their freshman year. Students who meet all of the published deadlines in subsequent years will be considered for JHU grant funding.
