<p>Also, please keep in mind that you actually don't touch any of the money. UCSD receives it and uses it to pay your fees.</p>
<p>Yeah but I meant when do we know the actual official amount we got awarded? because the amount that comes with the acceptance notice is not final yet. When do they notify us of the real thing?</p>

<p>Awarding has already started... I got my award notification a few days ago. It goes throughout the summer though... Last year, I think I got it sometime in July... But they don't start distributing funds until September.</p>
