On my application, I mentioned that I was applying for financial aid; however, now, I do not plan to do so. What should I do?

You could call or e-mail the Admissions Office and let them know, but really it won't make any difference. With a $26 billion endowment, they really are need-blind in admissions.

I did the same thing. I said I would apply for fin-aid, and then I did not after all. You don't really need to do anything. If you get in, then sometime in the spring or summer someone will send you an email or call you asking you where your fin-aid app is, and then you can just say you decided not to apply. No big deal.

Harvard couldn't care less. They have so much money they don't know what to do with it. Wealthy people only get a tip-factor if their parents contribute AT LEAST 10 million bucks, according to an admissions officer I spoke with.
