<p>I was accepted into Bowdoin yesterday and went online to check my financial aid status today: nothing. I can’t imagine Bowdoin expecting my family to pay almost half of our income every year for tuition, so I was wondering: does Bowdoin wait to award financial aid until all documents are received (our taxes became very complicated this year and I have not yet sent them in; the deadline is April 1) without giving a preliminary financial aid estimate? Or am I really stuck with the whole bill?</p>
