Hello me and my family arent very wealthy and my parents are separated. In my household the income is 18k and I have a younger sister and a brother and sister in college. My dad pays for the morgage and the electrical bill but that is about it(He doesnt live with me,my siblings and my mom). Since my household doesnt make too much money around how much financial aid would I receive? Thanks for the help

There is a link on the very first page of this forum that discusses Stanford's new financial aid policy. If the income for your entire family is 18K, you will get 45K in aid, including 2500 in work-study and will have to pay 1700 on your own (minimum requirement for any student). This 1700 usually goes into the "Personal Expenses" and "Other" categories, so it's money that you'd usually spend on your own anyway, i.e. plane tickets to fly back home, bedsheets for the dorm, etc...

This new "full-ride" policy, btw., is for anyone living in households making under 45K.
