I’m a current rising junior in hush school and starting to really think about what college I want to go to. A problem I’m having is that my family income is about 165k for 4 people. My parents are not rich enough to help me too much with money, and I’m worried I won’t qualify for financial aid. Are there schools that will give me help at this income?
No, there aren’t many. Some of the meets full needs colleges will give you a little, but those are the hardest to get into (Stanford, Harvard, Princeton). You may be better off targeting schools that give merit aid to those with your statistics.
If you have a sibling in college at the same time as you, you both might get some financial aid for the years you overlap. That’s might.
Agree with @twoinanddone that you should likely be looking for merit.
If you have excellent grades and test scores, there will be some places that offer enough merit aid to bring your costs down to what your family can afford. If you have more normal grades and test scores, then your affordable option will probably end up being a commuting distance community college or public four-year institution.

You can try plugging in some numbers to the Net Price Calculators (NPC) on each colleges website. If your parents are not self employed, it will give you an idea of what each college would expect you to pay if you were starting college this year. Assume price will go up by the time you enter college.
Our income is a bit less than yours (also four people), and we got no need-based aid. As others have said, look for affordable schools and merit money.
