Also @ashelykk for your best chance of getting SEOG, you need to apply for aid as close to October 1 as possible. SEOG has limited funds per campus…and the early filers get this award, not ones who file later.
October 1 is only 5 days from now.

Okay yes and I will be submitting my fasfa when the 2019-2020 opens October 1st and yea yea I know you were just estimating I know everything is not exact trust me .
I was just stating that my parents could give me about 3000-4000 and that’s not gonna change .
I would be fine doing work study
So I just did the NPC I know it’s not exactly but work study is 2157 a year ! Pell Grant 6,095 loans is 5500 and grants and scholorships from sam Houston is 5,200 I know the school provide aid to meet your meet the best they can but you don’t know how much …
Thats 15,909 including the work study,Pell Grant, and loan…
But still not enough ofc
The SEOG is 100$-4000 which the school use for people mainly in financial need if I could get it that would be great .
I would also note that work study isn’t for your first semester tuition. You have to find another way to fund that $2,157 for the first year. Also, if it’s $2,157 per year and not per semester, that isn’t much. You would also have to make sure you got the full amount because it’s money you work for. The school isn’t obligated to make sure you see a cent of it.
Yes I have about that much saved up
So I could pay for the first semester
You could IF all the other aid comes in as you predict. All you can do is apply, apply for aid, and see how it works out.
Good! I wish you the best! Just don’t try to struggle your way through school-it’s no fun.
Ok I will… I will tell you guys how it goes ??
