Financial Aide Problem

just curious, but where did your parents come from?
Maybe stress to them how bs is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will nearly guarantee you acceptance to an Ivy League?
Senay, temper tantrums are for TODDLERS. Most older people don't have them. I see this as a sign of your immaturity and an indication that you most likely not get accepted at a bs.
You most likely will not get FA. my rents make lower six figures, and we dont think we'll get full FA (that is, if I get accepted). My advice is a loan or scholarship of some sort, unless you can win more money in bets (lol) or convince your parents that bs is worth it.

Thanks for the sentiment but if you read my other posts this is no longer a problem. I convinced my parents that BS is worth it. Thanks though :)

im actually really charming with strangers and unknown people.....they always find me angelic

amazing
i hope the bs admins are smarter than strangers and unknown people (which by the way strangers and unknown peopole are the same thing)

Why do you need to go to a boarding school for high school if your public one is good? Especially if your parents are not willing to shell out the bucks. However, if you stay in a public school for HS, they may view college as much more of a wise investment and be willing to help out financially.

Oh, wait, this is a prep school admission thread.....

But still, with your parents views, I'd stay in the public HS. You'll likely find appreciative parents willing to help with college.

People without lots of money do not go to prep schools. Your parents interpret their situation as not having money. You can get by with a public HS education. What you really will need is their help with college. I know many immigrant adults who would never in a million years spend big bucks on a high school prep school. No matter how wealthy they were. They would see it as a waste of money. However, those same immigrant adults see college as a good investment.
