Does anyone know where I can receive financial assistance or scholarships for international student ambassador programs? Besides visiting the academy, I’ll be spending my summer overseas doing scientific research at a university, and teaching kids English, music and about HIV. These kind of programs cost A LOT of money. Does anyone know where may I receive financial assistance.

I personally have no idea, but luckily CC has a whole forum dedicated to this kind of stuff. I'd definitely check there first.

Is this related to the Air Force Academy? Just wondering, in case it actually is.

In relative terms no. But I am extremely enthusiastic about going to the academy, and I was wondering if any person that knows about the academy could help me.
I apologize.

Go to the acad site they talk about international students. I believe you have to go through your govt and I assume it is the same situation where you do not financially pay, but will owe a military committment to your country.

I think AFPJ is a US citizen going abroad for the summer, no?

Your right, I guess I read the post too quickly...my bad :(. In that case I agree with Petko, financial assistance has nothing to do with the SA, you need to look under the financial aid threads.

Good Luck on your internship.

Thank you
