Mmm so I had a workstudy job that I quit and I didn't quite keep track of how much I made total. Is there a way I can find out how much I made for the year? Also, do I have to file tax forms? Was there a certain amount I had to make under to be exempt? I e-mailed FAO but I'm on a bit of a goose chase at the moment. Any help would be appreciated =)

if you’re one of your parent’s dependents, then unless you made over ~$5k, you don’t have to file. i’m 95% on that one.

[Do You Need to File a Federal Income Tax Return?](http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=96623,00.html)

^ Use that to see if you need to file taxes. Because it was a work study job, you probably didn’t get taxes taken out of your paycheck (unless you worked a whole lot of hours…) so you don’t even need a refund. I got a W-2 in the mail this year, but I don’t remember if I got one last year at all…I worked over the summer, when it wasn’t work-study, so I got some taxes taken out then. I’d say check your W-2, but I don’t remember if you get one if you just do work-study.
