If I'm applying to Vassar and intend to major in something not as many people are interested in, are my chances increased? I applied ED also and am hoping it will make up for my lack of honors classes/extracurriculars.

As a Vassar student, I can say that it’s really, really common for people here to switch majors and experiment. Don’t take this as a bad sign, but I’m not sure your intended major will have TOO much of an effect on your application (as administration will expect you to change). That said, applying ED really does help your chances at Vassar so don’t fret for now.
