First Bridge Year Students Report on Their Experiences

<p>A fully-paid year abroad doing international service work awaits you. Available for selected incoming Princeton students is a year spent between high school and college allowing the participants to gain valuable international experience while growing in ways they might not be able to imagine.</p>

<p>"Are you interested in international experiences and public service? Then we invite you to spend a tuition-free year abroad, even before you begin your first year at Princeton.</p>

<p>Designed especially for incoming freshmen, Princeton’s new Bridge Year Program allows you to defer your enrollment for a year while you serve the public good in another country. You’ll do challenging, meaningful work in a school, social service agency, clinic or another community service organization.</p>

<p>Your nine months of service will give you both an international perspective and a deep appreciation for the importance of serving society and the world. When you return, you’ll enter your first year at Princeton University with a wealth of experience and maturity."</p>

<p>Bridge</a> Year Program - Application Information</p>

<p>The Princeton Bridge Year Program is fully subsidized by the University and students are sent in groups of five to various international destinations.</p>
