I'm excited to get my senior year started and finishing off on the right note to my high school career!</p>

<p>I’m sorry, but WHAT SCHOOL DISTRICT DECIDES TO START IN THE BEGINNING OF AUGUST? That sounds crazy! Like, when did you get out of school?</p>

<p>My first day is this Thursday</p>
<p>mine is august 26th</p>
<p>I’m starting in September! Wow, you guys are early birds. (Then again, we end in late June, while you end in May.)</p>
<p>We normally go to school the 27th, but the board decided take a week away. We got out June 14th I believe.</p>
<p>I start school on the 30th - I’ll be a senior. I just want to send in college applications, maintain good grades, and enjoy the year.</p>

We always start sometime before the 20th but this year we’re starting extra early so we can finish the first semester before Christmas break; we finish May 28th.</p>

<p>My first day of high school wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be–I got all nice teachers (so far), and it was fun running up and down the stairs. It’s gonna suck once they start piling up the homework.</p>
