I accidentally put first language in another language (not english) on my common app and submitted; do I still have to take the TOEFL if my SAT reading score was 770, my writing score was 750, my ACT english was 36, my ACT reading was 35, and my ACT writing was 34?
Are you applying domestically? if so then i highly highly doubt it because this is what it says on most schools websites “All international applicants whose native language is not English must submit an official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score.” But you could always email the schools to correct the error.
Each college and university sets its own policy about the TOEFL or other English proficiency exam. Check the websites. In many cases, if you have received the past 5 years of your education in schools where English is the medium of instruction, there will be no need for the TOEFL. In many cases, exam scores like yours will result in TOEFL waivers even if you’ve never attended a school where English was the medium of instruction. But there are some institutions out there where admitting that English is not your first language will mean that you have to take a proficiency exam even if all of your education has been in English. Sounds crazy I know, but they get to make their own rules.
