First Post- and congratulations to the EA Admits!

<p>Hello everybody,</p>

<p>I'm kicking myself that I haven't found this site before. I found it on Friday, when looking online for something to assuage the pain of deferral from Yale. </p>

<p>To the EA Admittees: Congratulations! I wish you the best of luck. </p>

<p>I admit that I'm a bit jealous, but please don't take me seriously. All of the admitted people are extraordinary, and fully deserve their acceptances. </p>

<p>My condolences to the rejected and deferred people. As the cliche goes-- I feel your pain. I'll keep pursuing Yale myself, because I unwisely fell in love with it before being admitted. </p>

<p>Any tips for trying to get over this disappointment?</p>

<p>I got deferred too...my cure is to do a college application frenzy (unless you already have your other apps ready)</p>

<p>or do something artistic...or hang out....or blow time on CC :)</p>
