Okay, so I've already taken the SAT and I'm taking the ACT next week.
I don't know whether I should treat it like a typical SAT. I've been practicing and I noticed that I really hate the science section. I'd like to learn some of the strategies any of you use to go about the science questions.
Also, the ACT essay has a different prompt style. Should I use two/three examples/sources (literary, historical, personal, political, etc) like in the SAT essay? Or am I allowed to just analyze the prompt's issue and write my feelings on it? I really don't know how to approach the essay...
Thank you!

I am currently studying ACT and will take SAT, too. I know that there are many difference between two tests. I got 10(out of 12) on my essay. I just wrote (I did not learn anything about essay). I wrote introduction concisely and then gave three specific examples. TIP: JUST MAKE ANY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE. For example, last exam topic was “Do you think school rule should be applied to outside of school(outside of school’s boundary?)” I wrote YES. Example 1) Because some students do unacceptable act outside school-I made my personal experience which is one of my school students behaviors. Example 2) contradiction. Although/While some people believe something, it is obvious that blah…blah… You need to contract opposite opinion-it is an essential part of ACT essay. 3rd body) More specific and complicated example. I wrote what the real school’s purpose is. For instance, the school is for students. For students’ future and success, it is crucial for school to apply school rules not only in school but also outside because it will contribute blah blah…

I got 29 on the last ACT(31 on Science/ 35 on Math/ I am suck at reading… average English) For science tip, just do not read paragraphs.

Step 1. scam graph and other structure. (5 question is for graph question 7 is for scientists’ conflict) 2. look question 3. look graph which question referred. And choose. Occasionally, some question asks about difference between experiments. You need to look graph or words. Just practice whether you need to read paragraph or graph. It gonna help. What I did was practice by using REAL ACT book and act online prep. I think it was 19 dollars. Because it is provided from ACT, it is very similar. I got 29 on ACT online prep and got 29 on real test. Also, Dissecting act 2.0 was helpful.

And, if you know about SAT critical reading tip, please send message or reply… because I need help… I think i can get perfect score on Math section (I do not need writing portion because colleges I want to attend do not require writing portion just for scholarship. I gonna use ACT score as admission and SAT as scholarship)- I think 1400 is minimum which is I guess 600 cr and 800 math. (I got 5 on AP. Cal BC and I love math and it is very easy)
