Doesn’t Fordham offer full tuition scholarships for NMF students?
Here are the big merit scholarship lists:

@calmom at Fordham, the full tuition awards are competitive, not guaranteed (confirmed through admissions rep). BU guarantees $20k in merit aid for NMF (although you can be awarded more… and she will apply for full-tuition Trustees Scholarship)
Thanks, @ucbalumnus, I will take another look through those. Temple might be an option although she just misses out on full-tuition award based on SAT, (unless they allow a superscored ACT)
Ugh, just realized based on links above that BU’s $20k is not guaranteed but is competitive too. Northeastern guarantees $30k off.
I’m not sure that your daughter has retaken the tests but you could consider sending ACT so that she does not have to take subject tests and also sending in SAT since they are higher (2120 equivalent to 32). She sounded like she was not interested in resetting but you can make the most of her scores which are really good.
Brava @MidwestMomTo2. Way to go in looking at the finances from the beginning and setting some decision criteria.
Well, my D just got a letter today saying the $20k merit award IS guaranteed from BU if she advances to NMF. Won’t be enough alone … but it’s a start.
Drexel offers full tuition for NMSF! Plus they stack it with other scholarships such as AJ Drexel. Top East Coast school, especially for their amazing national merit scholarship.
@MidwestMomTo2 I don’t have anything to add but wanted to mention that I am following your thread and love how you and your daughter are doing so much research, are open to so many options, and are looking at both the “vibe” of the schools you’ve visited as well as the financial piece of it. It’s refreshing to see a family approach the process as you are - being willing to let go of some schools and add others and really drilling down deep to be sure the finances work. There are so many parents and kids on CC who could learn from your methodology.
I wish you all the best in your family’s journey and know your daughter will land in a place that’s a great fit for her because of your intelligent approach.
That’s very nice to hear @GnocchiB! I can assure you we have had our bumps along the way. too, but I’ve learned a lot about being realistic on CC … and my daughter has shown good focus on what’s important to her (even when I didn’t always.)
