First Year Integrated Program

so i'll be taking the water class for the FIP and even though im a BIM major i thought the class was very interesting and i wanted to fulfill a lot of GE's. however, which GE's does it cover and if i made a decision to transfer would the class fulfill those necessary requirements? thanks for any help and God bless.

In order for you to get FIP credit you have to take is all 3 quarters. I took it Consciousness my freshman year and it was really interesting. Which requirements it fills depends on the topic. Taking all 3 FIP courses also gets you out of taking Writing 39C (research paper) so I highly recommend taking it. I am also a BIM major and it gets rid of general GE stuff. Make Sure TO TAKE IT ALL 3 QUARTERS or you won’t get 39C credit.

Thanks for the input. And how are BIM classes? Are they hard, easy?

I find them to be pretty doable. I’m a computer person with a business mind so I liked the fact that it combines both of the aspects I was looking for. If it wasn’t for BIM I probably would’ve done CS and Business Econ. It’s about half programming classes and half business classes. Just make sure to keep up wit your readings and projects and you’ll do fine.

Sweet. And one last question. Can you take management 30 a and b during my winter and spring quarter during my freshman year and can you post your schedule at uci thus far starting from freshman year?
