@Mom2aphysicsgeek . I meet with the professor who chairs the IU Chinese flagship yesterday. They do say that there is scholarship and grant money available but that is based on your performance while in the program so you do not know on the onset. Also their is a capstone year ( which I need to read about more) that most students do in their “5 th year”. That is a concern for me as I do not want to pay tuition for 5 years as then the cost is a little extreme as compared to my other choices.
Yes, the program wants to see who rises, but the benefits are there, and paid internships are available, etc.
OP, the only thing of interest we learned yesterday that you might find helpful in making decisions is that any student from any school can apply for the Capstone Yr.
