Flexible, artsy schools?

Hi all!
I'm currently a junior on the lookout for schools to add to my list! :) I'm primarily interested in psych, drama, and gender studies, and I'm looking for flexible colleges with little to no core requirements.

I've researched schools with B.A. drama programs that allow minors or double majors (i.e. Emerson, Northwestern) as well as some artsy LAC's like Bard and New Paltz that would stimulate me academically and creatively!

I'm looking for a school that encourages students to faciliate their own education. Others things like environmental consiousness and diveristy are factors, too.

In terms of qualifications, I have average grades and test scores (3.4 unweighted, 2150 SAT), so super competitive schools, unfortunately, aren't an option. I'd been involved with non-profits related to psych all throughout high school, though, and I'm intensely involved in high school and community theatre.

I'd appreciate and am open to any input from you all! Thanks so much.

Bennington College (VT)
Hampshire College (MA)

Sarah Lawrence.

New Paltz sounds like a good option. If you have any questions, my son is a senior there.

Your grades are a bit low for Grinnell, but if you have an upward trend, you might want to consider it a reach. They have amazing theater facilities (this school has a huge endowment and all the facilities are state-of-the art) and no distribution requirements at all. I would describe the culture as more quirky and individualistic than artsy, but the psych dept is excellent and they have a new non-profit internship management program that might interest you.
As for diversity, 11% of the students are international and the student body is roughly 20% non-white (Asian, Hispanic or Black). Not sure what percent of the student body is LGBT, but the campus and surrounding community are very welcoming.
