Florida Bright Futures Question: Community Service

I was just wondering if anyone knew the specifics on the community service requirement in order to qualify for Florida Bright Futures Scholarship. I know you need 75 hours, but can you count school-required service hours (my school requires 80 before you can graduate), or is it an additional 75 hours?

Thanks!

Yes, school-required hours count for Bright Futures. I think that's one of the reasons that Florida schools require community service - to make sure that the kids meet that Bright Futures requirement.

Thanks so much!!! What a relief. :)
