My financial aid package is pretty good right now, but I was wondering if Vanderbilt is one of those schools that "lure you in" the first year with a nice offer...and then raise the price from there on out.

That’s a good question. I’m bumping this^

Assuming your financial circumstances remain constant, you should receive comparable awards every year.

Notice the first post from Kelsmom.

Haven’t received my second aid package yet but financial aid office has emphasized that there should be little change in your package year to year assuming there is little change to your finances.

Neither my daughter nor her roommate experienced a drop in financial aid. My son was in college when my D was a senior, and her aid went way up.

I pretty much got it all paid for the whole time I was there. They base your financial aid on your EFC off the FAFSA, so your aid should be the same assuming the factors going into your EFC don’t change.
