Flying requirement

I apologize if this isn't the correct section to post this, but I'm just curious about flying. As a pilot, if you have any stitches on wounds such as a stitch because of a cut, does that prohibit you from ever becoming a pilot?

Ummm…stitches hold the wound together while it heals, then they are removed. Therefore, you no longer have them. If you have a deep cut involving “inside stitches” and outside stitches, the inner ones dissolve; therefore, you don’t have stitches.

So there are no restrictions in that area of wounds/cuts/etc?

You worry too much… :-)

Sorry hahah I have just heard from others that if you have permanent cuts or scars, you can’t fly high altitudes because the scars will blow up or something like that.

I think you need to please stick to serious questions.

And maybe get a new screen name while you’re at it…
