Focus on getting a 2250+ on SAT or self-studying Precalculus or both?

You have like about 2 months of summer and you can finish studying the Precalculus book within two weeks if you have basically nothing to do. If you’re really focused like MIThopeful, three to four days for you. Besides, like I said before, 3 years ahead of you and there’s still a lot of time for you to study for your SAT.

No, 3-4 days is nowhere near enough time to learn precalculus. You can memorize the concepts, but you won’t have time to become even half-decent at performing the operations involved in precalculus. The human brain needs more time to internalize them. The absolute minimum is probably about 2 weeks, only if you have nothing else to do.

I pick up math on the fly. Literally show me a picture of a math topic, I can do it. All the topics in precalculus I looked at were literally extensions of my alg 2/trig class. Polars were the newest thing.

Not at all. I had plenty of free time to take Film History and still have fun all the time.
