<p>When I visited elon this fall I didnt get a chance to check out the dining hall(s). Besides the octagon cafe, is there any other places to use your dining dollars? Is the food at elon good/are there many options? Also, is being in Greek life essential to the elon experience? If you are not in greek life, are you still allowed to attend Greek parties etc. Thanks in advance! I've only heard great things about Elon!</p>
<p>My son has visited friends at similarly sized private schools and he thought Elon had more options than other schools. </p>
<p>The ALL ACCESS portion of the All Access Meal Plans can be used for unlimited visits to our three “all-you-care-to-eat” facilities: Harden, Upstairs McEwen, and Upstairs Colonnades. Multiple visits may be made throughout the day for meals, snacks or just to visit friends. Please allow 15-minutes between each meal swipe.</p>

<p>I really like the food. Dining halls are good, and sandwiches are good at other places. It gets old after a few years, but by then you should have an apt. to cook in anyway.</p>
<p>As far as Greek life: You do NOT need to be Greek to have a good time at Elon. There are plenty of other organizations/clubs to get involved with and make friends/have fun. However, if you want to go to Greek parties, here are a few things you should know:
- If you’re a girl, you can get in fairly easily, but it still helps to know people in the frat or be with older girls who know people.
- If you are a boy, you will get turned away from many frat houses unless you know some brothers. It’s just the way it works. Some frats are more lenient than others.</p>
<p>I am in Greek life, so I can’t speak from the perspective of someone who is not. What I can tell you is that it’s an enjoyable experience, but I know plenty of people who have a great time and go to Greek parties, even though they are unaffiliated, both boys and girls.</p>
