The GPA is the problem, and Clemson is more picky on the SAT. The GPA is actually very bad, I don’t know how you got a 3.25.

Consider Clemson and USC to be two entirely different schools. I did not enroll at Clemson because I live 20 minutes down the road and I wanted to live away from home. Mainly, because there is literally nothing to do in Clemson;however, USC is in the heart of the largest city of South Carolina (Columbia). Academically, unless it’s for engineering or agriculture, USC and Clemson are one in the same. I enrolled at USC because I knew a professor there who taught a class I wanted. In addition he taught at the medical school there (looking for a solid recommendation). Far more MD’s at USC than Clemson. In addition, USC has a pharmacy, basically two medical schools, and one law school. I feel that USC’s board is more alert when it comes to professional schools. Considering Clemson has zero. At first I did not like USC, but after hearing Clemson students’s brag about their 57% acceptance rating(coin toss), I had to become a gamecock.
